Your own pages

Most of this documentation describes pages you are given permission to use. The My group in the sidebar works the other way around: its pages come from what you are — a registered coach, a club official, a judge, an athlete — and no permission is involved at all. A person whose account can administer nothing still has pages of their own here.

Velos reads your standing from the records your federation, club or academy keeps, and shows an entry per standing you hold:

  • My Club — for a person registered as a club’s coach or put forward as one of its officials. A coach reads the club’s roster, athletes and competitions; an official also runs the club from it — registering archers, filing documents, handling transfers and entering archers into open competitions. Covered in The club portal.
  • My Seminars — for a person taking part in a seminar: the courses they are on the roster of, each marked Coach course, Judge seminar or Preparation camp, with its schedule, materials, results and certificate. Where a course requires credentials — a first-aid certificate, a safeguarding clearance — the participant files them there too.
  • My Judging — for a person who holds a judge record: the competitions they are assigned to judge. Covered in My Judging.
  • Competitions — for every signed-in person: the competition calendar, with dates and registration windows — and, for a registered athlete, their own entry and result on each competition. Covered in My Competitions.
  • Athlete profile — for a person registered as an athlete, whatever the standing of the registration: their own athlete file — licence, bows, club, competitions, medals, records and training. Covered in Athlete profile.
  • My Profile — for every account linked to a person: your own record, covered in Finding your way around.

There is nothing to grant and nothing to configure per person. Registering somebody as a coach is what gives them My Club; recording a judge is what gives them My Judging; registering them as an athlete is what gives them Athlete profile; removing the record takes the page away again. The one switch that exists is for the whole federation, club or academy: the athlete portal — the Athlete profile page and the athlete’s own entry and result on the calendar — can be turned off for everyone at once.

An account with staff pages lands on the dashboard. An account without them lands on the first of its own pages, in the order above — so a coach or a club official signs in and is already looking at their club, a judge at their assignments, and anyone else at the competition calendar or their profile. An athlete lands on the calendar too, not on their own file: Athlete profile is one click further. The page is yours even when it is quiet: a judge with no assignments yet still lands on My Judging and is told, plainly, that nothing is assigned.

Opening the address of a page you do not hold the standing for does not show an error — Velos returns you to your landing page.

  • Yours to read; a few things are yours to do. Most of what is here is a read, and none of it reaches into staff work — nobody corrects a score, edits a competition or changes an athlete’s standing from these pages. The actions that do exist are the ones that belong to you: a club official acting for their club, a seminar participant filing the credentials their course asks for, and anyone keeping their own photo and phone number current on My Profile. Anything beyond that is asked of whoever administers Velos where you are.
  • Confined to you. Each page is fenced to the records behind your own standing — your club, your assignments, your athlete file, your profile. There is no way to browse from them into somebody else’s.
  • The same on the phone. The Velos mobile app shows the same pages to the same people, fed by the same records.

When a course on My Seminars requires credentials — proof of a qualification your federation, club or academy recognises, such as a first-aid certificate — its page carries a My credentials card, headed with how many “still need your attention”. Each required credential shows where it stands — Not filed, In review, Verified, Rejected or Expired — with a line saying what to do next. Upload credential files one (PDF, Word, Excel, text, JPEG or PNG — up to 10MB); a credential that was turned down shows the reviewer’s reason, and Upload a new file replaces it without disturbing anything already verified. A credential your federation, club or academy filed for you is marked Filed by staff.

Each entry follows one record, and giving or taking a page away is done on that record — not on the account:

Page The record behind it
My Club A coach record attached to a club, or a Club Officials row on the club.
My Seminars Being a participant on a seminar.
My Judging A judge record, under Archery → Judges.
Competitions None — every signed-in account has it.
Athlete profile An athlete record, under Archery → Athletes, in any standing.
My Profile The person linked to the account.
